As far as PC games go, this is a good one if you can get it for a good price. My 4 year old daughter likes all the princess characters and LOVES horses. However, there are not many activities to give the game enough variation and hence maintain its position as the "favorite game". It has now been relegated to 3rd choice after having it for one month. There is a horse riding game (my favorite) A horse decorating game Decorate the show ring game. The princesses and horses do keep this game from being forgotten all together. I would expect it would be entertaining for girls in the 4-6 age range, but too simple for girls over 6 years old I try to feed her games one or two at a time until she tires of one and then remove it from the computer table (unless she explicitly requests to play an old game again) Dora and Nemo's Under Water Wold of Fun have shown better staying power than this game. For me, the most important issue was that it worked on our Mac. Our mac can run Classic mode. This game will NOT run on Intel Mac (unless you run windows) or OS X 10.5 or later (no Classic support) The price was right ($6.50 including shipping, NEW).Read full review
I bought this game for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas because she loves horses and princess. So I thought this game would be perfect for her. It was great for her. She loves to play it however it doesn't keep her interest long because there is not much to do. The first time she played it was great but then she only plays for 10 min. at a time. I was hoping to get her to play a little longer to keep her occupied while I did chores and such. I also sat down to play it and thought it was cute but it could use a little more. This game is completely for entertainment and nothing more. It does not teach anything.....except maybe how to coordinate bridals and saddles and banners and bows. It is a cute game for 3, 4, 5, and maybe 6 year old however I would not recommend it to any older. It is an easy game (if you want to call it that) for a preschooler so any older would find it boring I think.Read full review
Not only does my 4 year old granddaughter love to play this game, but Nana does too! The game is easy to play. Riding the horse is great fun!
It's a cute game, but the actual riding of the horse(s) experience wasn't really up to par with what I thought it was going to be. Still a really cute game though I still enjoyed it.
Our 2 girls fell in love with this game right away! If your little girl loves ponies and princesses then this is something she's sure to enjoy. They get to dress and decorate and then "ride" their beautiful horse.
